My baby is half one year
Ikmal my baby boy is 6 months old today, 17th March 2011. We decided to buy chocolate cup cakes and let him taste some his own way. He seems to enjoy the cake, his first one, thank goodness it's not too sweet. Put one candle and he was quick to grab it.
Also would like to put to words how thrilled I am that my baby is still exclusively on breast milk, no formula milk for him yet. This is really the first for me. My previous kids only managed to be totally on breast milk for two or three months. I am rather proud of myself. But much more, I am grateful for the opportunity. I'm sure this will not be likely if I were still in PKP in the marketing portfolio. With my other girls, me waking up every few hours at night to feed them is unheard of. It's always my hubby or my maid feeding them from bottles. Now with Ikmal, he would whine a bit and there I would be sitting up and feeding him out of my own blood. It's such a bliss words can't describe. What do you know, Allah has his grand plans all around us. We're just sometimes too oblivious to them. I remember how I was in depressed mode for more than 5 months after I left PKP, not able to focus on my new job, still hoping that a miracle will bring me back to PKP. Alhamdulillah I am now back to my senses. And my baby is happy and healthy.
