Best birthday so far

I didn't think much of it even from the time I woke up. Furthermore, hubby not with me, so how nice could it be..... Started the day as quite the usual. Still lingering sadness if Mak Nah's last day alive yesterday. Not sure whether I want to go back to Melaka today. Called Busu once I reached office, she told me Mak Nah was laid to rest around 8pm plus, Alhamdulillah. Theere will be small kenduri today noon probably with Yassin and tahlil. I said most likely unable to go as I have quite a long list of work to do. Wanted to get my stuff out of the bag, saw the birthday card my eldest daughter Ika Dyana made herself and apparently slipped in there some time last night. Reading her poem and each word she wrote, I was overwhelmed with happy tears, I was choked with love. How that 12 years old is so matured and childish at the same time. Called colleague downstairs about something, told that the lady is on leave wanting to fetch her child's UPSR results. Gosh, my daughter was just cool this morning, didn't say anything about wanting me to fetch her. My sister sms me around 11 something asking about Along's results. I said I am yet to know as I am still st the office. She said her friend already know of her child's results. Mmmmmmm, me the indifferent careless thoughtless mum. Rushed out and managed to be at the school right about 3minutes before Along Ika walked out of the gate. I looked at her, not sure what to expect. Then she broke the wonderful news, "ma, along dapat 5A.....". I was again choked with tears.....my baby girl ......
